The ocean is like a siren song for me, all the places I am drawn to are near the coast. Nothing compares to the restorative, meditative, and uplifting properties of being near water. I am lucky to live 15 minutes from the ocean and to have spent time on different coastlines. All of the textures, details, and fragments of memories from these experiences have blended over the years to emerge as these large scale, layered seascapes that contain multitudes! There are so many hidden gems from seashells, handmade paper, vintage lace, gold leaf, little fish drawings, to swirls of sparkle and color.
